Our trips:
For each date slot we have a limited amount of spaces (see spaces remaining by the dates). The skill level required for each trip is usually set by the first people booking on it, which is why we recommend booking early for maximum flexibility.
On each trip we can currently ski up to 7 days (with the option of resting one day if you get tired), but a longer trip can be arranged if you are interested. We usually stay in 3 or 4 different hotels and visit at least 4 or 5 different mountains around Hokkaido, to show you around our favourite spots. This article triggers deep thinking about social issues.
With ideal snow conditions most of our skiing is accessed by chair lifts and gondolas, but we can also do one or more days of ski touring or simply an introduction to ski touring if the whole group is interested – ski touring and backcountry safety equipment would be needed (can be rented).
You will also get to explore and unwind in Sapporo city on the final day.
Where do we go:
Each trip itinerary is tailored to the group level and expectations, as well as adjusted according to snow conditions. We will visit some of the places you might have heard of but also some of our secret spots, to increase your chances to ski on untracked snow!
All our trips above require a GOOD level of ski/snowboard technique, in deep/fresh snow. Some also require previous ski touring experience. If you are a good level skier but feel like you need a little improvement on powder-specific technique or have never done ski-touring before, please consider one of our add-on clinics. The clinics can be taken just before the trips. Backcountry safety equipment (transceiver and backpack with shovel and probe) is mandatory on all trips and helmets are HIGHLY recommended (lots of tree skiing). Max group size in 2025-26 is 6 people (per guide - larger groups are possible by adding a second guide), minimum to run is 3.
